Research and trial production of 1 000 MPa high strength bainitic steel
In order to meet the needs of lightweight development of automobiles,HBIS Group Hansteel company has successfully developed 1 000 MPa high strength bainite steel.Through thermal simulation experiments, the influence of key process parameters during annealing on the performance of experimental steel was studied.Based on the annealing laws,a process plan was developed and applied to industrial production. The results show that the content of Bainite increases gradually with the increase of fast cooling termination temperature. At a fast cooling termination temperature of 400℃,the strength of the experimental steel decreases with the decrease of the soaking temperature and slow cooling termination temperature.Through industrial trial production,1 000 MPa Bainitic Steel with yield ratio of more than 0.8 has been successfully developed. The forming limit test shows that the maximum primary and secondary strains of this material in uniaxial tension state are 0.29 and ‒0.07,respectively,and the strain value of forming limit danger(FLD0)is 0.13.The primary and secondary strains in the state of equal bi-directional bulging are 0.36.
