Distribution behavior of gold between matte and slag during gold collection in matte
In order to improve the recovery rate of gold from refractory gold ores, during the gold collection in matte, this study investigated the effects of temperature,m(Fe)/m(SiO2)ratio,and CaO content in the slag on the collection rate of gold through high-temperature equilibrium experiments.Meanwhile, the distribution behavior of gold between the molten metal and slag at different reaction times was also explored. The results show that both the matte grade and its collection rate of gold are significantly improved when the smelting temperature is increased from 1 250 ℃ to 1 300 ℃.Furthermore, the matte grade and the collection rate of gold of copper matte decrease with the increase of m(Fe)/m(SiO2)and CaO content. When the m(Fe)/m(SiO2)is 0.86 and CaO content is 4.00%,the collection rate of gold of copper matte is as high as 96.54%,and after 0.5 h of high-temperature smelting reaction, the gold immediately migrates to the matte until it reaches the equilibrium state.
