Application Status and Development Review of Ultrasonic Elliptical Vibration Cutting Device
The elliptical vibration cutting device can solve the problem of hard and brittle machining of high performance mate-rials.The elliptical vibration cutting device separates the tool from the workpiece by applying ultrasonic vibration to the tool,reduces the cutting force,and improves the machining quality of the workpiece surface.Firstly,the cutting principle of the de-vice is introduced.Secondly,its structural characteristics and the research status of the device are analyzed.Finally,the per-formance characteristics of the device are summarized.The purpose is to help the relevant researchers and technicians in the field of ultra-precision machining to better grasp the performance characteristics of such devices and provide theoretical refer-ence for the optimal design of subsequent processing devices through introduction of such devices and performance analysis on different types of the devices.
