Analysis of Professional Identity and Its Influencing Factors of Medical Students in Higher Vocational Colleges
Objective To explore the professional identity of medical students in higher vocational colleges and its influencing factors.Methods A cluster sampling survey was conducted from May to July 2023.The participants were students enrolled at a medical vocational college.A total of 618 students were administered the questionnaire for this study.Results 1)There were statistically significant differences in career cognitive,career commitment,career behavior and career expectation dimensions among different genders(P<0.05);there were statistically significant differences in career cognitive,career commitment,career behavior,career expectation and career values dimensions among different grades(P<0.05);and there were statistically significant differences in the career emotional dimension among different places of origin(P<0.05).2)The professional identity of higher vocational medical students was significantly positively correlated with motivation and action,exerting an influential role.Conclusion The professional identity of higher vocational medical students is at a moderately high level and is influenced by various factors such as gender,grade,and place of origin.
