SWOT Analysis and Countermeasures of Research Capabilities in a Tertiary Pediatric Hospital
Scientific research ability is an important indicator for evaluating the ability of hospitals.Through SWOT(strenths,weaknesses,opportunities,threats)analysis of a tertiary pediatric hospital in Tianjin,the essay found that the hospital has internal advantages such as high-quality medical resources and professional research platforms,but there are also disadvantages such as scarcity of young pediatric doctors,insufficient scientific research backup forces,fewer high-level scientific research projects,and insufficient awareness of transformation.At the same time,externally,the phenomenon of fewer children at the social level may have an impact on the development of pediatric hospitals,leading to problems such as insufficient momentum.Therefore,the author used SWOT analysis to analyze the internal strengths,weaknesses,external opportunities,and threats of the hospital's scientific research ability,breaking down the problems one by one,using strengths to resolve crises and making up for shortcomings;using high-quality platforms,cooperating with universities,conducting in-depth research across disciplines,and deepening cooperation in professional fields;focusing on high-level scientific research directions such as difficult diseases in the face of the phenomenon of low birth rate;at the same time,supplementing backup forces,encouraging young doctors to participate in scientific research projects,and expanding the application of projects in multiple fields.In the face of the current problem of high traffic of pediatric patients,the author separate the flow of patients between the two hospitals to leave energy for medical staff,make them improve their abilities in scientific research and guide the high-quality development of hospital scientific research.
