Management Practice of Socialized Disinfection and Supply of Cardiothoracic Surgical Instruments
Objective To analyze the problems in disinfecting cardiothoracic surgical instruments in socialized disinfection supply center and explore the value of high-quality nursing intervention measures to improve the corresponding problems.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted to compare the loss rates of sterilized instrument sets in the operating room of Tianjin Chest Hospital before and after improvements were made to the socialized disinfection supply process.The data of various social disinfection supply centers without training from September 2016 to September 2019 were taken as the control group,and the data of various disinfection supply centers collected after training and communication from September 2019 to September 2022 were taken as the intervention group.The qualified rate of washing,packaging,disinfection and the timeliness of recycling and distribution of medical devices in the two groups were compared,and the satisfaction of relevant clinical departments on disinfection supply service was investigated.Results The qualified rate of washing,packaging,disinfection and recovery and distribution of medical devices in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Additionally,after professional training of the equipment center staff,the medical staff in the operating room were satisfied with the disinfection of the instruments.Conclusion The repeated communication between the hospital and the social disinfection center and the strengthening of the training of the disinfection center can improve the working effect of the social disinfection center and the satisfaction of the medical staff.
