Evaluation on the Application of 6S Management Model in the Management of Ophthalmic Outpatient Nursing
Objective To evaluate the application effect and value of 6S management model in clinical nursing management of ophthalmology outpatient department.Methods A 6S management group was established,and 48 outpatient nurses in Tianjin Eye Hospital were selected for questionnaire survey from January 2022 to January 2023 by convenience sampling method.They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method,with 24 persons in each group.The routine nursing management was taken on the control group,and the 6S management model was taken on the observation group.The nursing quality score,nurses'clinical communication ability and the satisfaction of ophthalmic outpatients before and after intervention were analyzed.Results After intervention,the scores of environmental order,service attitude,nursing safety and equipment management in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).After intervention,the scores of nurse-patient basic verbal communication ability,nurse-patient basic non-verbal communication ability,team communication ability,emotional support ability,emotional perception ability and difficult situation communication ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of 6S management model in ophthalmology outpatient department significantly improve the quality of clinical nursing service,enhance nurses'clinical communication ability,and improve patients'satisfaction with ophthalmology outpatient nursing,allows more patients to obtain high-quality medical services.
