The Ideological and Political Integration and Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Technology Course Based on TBL Teaching Method
Objective To integrate cultural self-confidence into the curriculum ideological and political construction in the course of nursing technology of traditional Chinese medicine,cultivating students'cultural self-confidence and cultural consciousness,and improving students'cultural self-confidence experience.Methods From March to June of 2022,4 classes were randomly selected from 16 upgraded nursing classes in 2020 and divided into 2 classes in the experimental group and 2 classes in the control group,with 57 and 59 students,respectively.The control group was taught by traditional teaching methods according to teaching arrangement and schedule.In the course of teaching,the experimental group integrated ideological and political ideas into the teaching process,and perfectly combined professional courses with ideological and political education.Through the questionnaire investigation,the learning ability and cultural self-confidence of the students in the two groups were observed in terms of their interest in course learning,problem analysis ability,independent learning ability,theory and practice ability,course liking degree,professional thought stability,traditional Chinese medicine cultural emotion,traditional Chinese medicine cultural behavior,traditional Chinese medicine cultural cognition,traditional Chinese medicine cultural identity,etc.The skills of 2 groups of students were observed through the examination results.Results The experimental group showed a higher level of interest in classroom learning,problem analysis ability,self-learning ability,ability to connect theory with practice,degree of love for courses,stability of professional thinking,and emotional,behavioral,cognitive,and identification with traditional Chinese medicine culture compared to the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.001).The skill assessment scores of the experimental group students were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The integration of ideological and political elements not only enhances students'professional and technical abilities,but also enhances their ideological and moral levels.
