Observation on the Application Effect of Online and Offline Teaching Mode in Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching
Objective To observe the effect of online and offline teaching mode in clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology. Methods A total of 80 four-year clinical medicine students were selected from Jinzhou Medical University from March 2021 to March 2022.They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 40 participants in each group. The traditional offline classroom teaching mode was adopted by the control group, while the observation group had adopted the online and offline teaching mode on the basis of the control group's mode. After the end of the semester, the students in the two groups were given questionnaires and took the final exam of obstetrics and gynecology. The score of teacher satisfaction, the recognition of online and offline teaching modes, the learning time after class and the final exam scores of the students in the two groups were compared. Results The scores of teacher satisfaction and recognition of online and offline teaching modes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.001).There was no significant difference in after-school learning time between the two groups(P>0.05).The scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group in the final exam theory, practical skills and total scores, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The introduction of online and offline teaching mode in the clinical teaching of obstetrics and gynecology can stimulate students'interest in learning, improve their academic performance, and will not increase the burden of learning, which is a good teaching mode.
