The Application of Rain Classroom Combined With CBL Teaching Method in Cardiology Teaching
Objective To explore the application value of rain classroom combined with case-based learning(CBL)in clinical internship teaching of cardiology. Methods A total of 60 undergraduates from the 2018 cohort of the five-year clinical medicine program at Jinzhou Medical University were selected. From August to December 2021,these students, interning in the department of cardiology, were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was taught with rain classroom combined with the CBL method, while the control group was taught with traditional teaching.Basic theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, and case analysis abilities were assessed, and teaching effectiveness was evaluated through a questionnaire survey. Results The experimental group outperformed the control group in mastery of basic theoretical knowledge, clinical skill operation, and CBL case analysis, with statistically significant differences(P<0.001).The experimental group also showed improvements in self-learning ability, learning habits, clinical thinking,problem-solving skills, and teaching satisfaction, all superior to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The teaching method satisfaction rate for the experimental group was notably high at 96.67%,compared to 60.00%in the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of rain classroom combined with CBL in clinical internship teaching of cardiology significantly enhances teaching quality and student professional capabilities, promoting the improvement of students'analytical and problem-solving skills.
