The Application of Communication Case Competition in Nursing Clinical Practice Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of communication case competition in nursing clinical practice teaching.Methods A total of 153 nursing students enrolled in Affiliated Jinhua Hospital,Zhejiang University School of Medicine from July to November 2021 were selected as the study objects.The nursing students who participated in the communication case competition were set as the experimental group,and those who did not participate in the communication case competition were set as the control group.During the 4-month internship,the theoretical training of communication and conflict in the hospital and the practical guidance of the teacher was adopted by the experimental group.After 2 months,they were arranged to participate in the communication case competition and continue practicing for 2 months after the competition.The theoretical training of communication and conflict in the hospital and the practical guidance of the teacher was adopted by the control group as well.After 4 months,the communication ability of the two groups of nursing students was compared,and the evaluation of the teaching methods of communication case competition was investigated.Results The score of communication ability of nursing students in experimental group was(87.31±10.26)points,which was higher than(82.76±10.98)points in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The acceptance of the teaching method of communication case competition was higher than 95.0%.Conclusion The implementation of the communication case competition not only improves the clinical communication ability of nursing students,but also helps to improve the clinical teaching effect and optimize the teaching process.
