Construction and Application of the"Trinity"in Clinical Practice Ability Cultivation Model
Standardized clinical skills training for medical students is the key to the implementation of practical teaching reform in higher medical education.In view of the obvious differences in teaching level and hardware in the current clinical practice teaching process in colleges and universities,the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University,with the goal of improving students'clinical practice ability and promoting the combination of theory and practice,adopts the"Trinity"model to cultivate medical talents.That consists of the"three-stage"standard clinical ability cultivation for medical undergraduates(major medical model),the problem-based learning(PBL)/case-based learning(CBL)combined with evidence-based medicine,and an interactive teaching model based on Internet resources.This model has been applied to the students preparing for the skills competition in Dalian Medical University,and has achieved remarkable results,that is,the students won the first prize in the competition.Practice has proved that the"Trinity"clinical practice ability training model can help students improve their post competency and is welcomed by teachers and students.
