Application of AI Combined With BOPPPS Teaching Mode in Chest Imaging Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of artificial intelligence(AI)combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in chest imaging teaching.Methods A total of 60 five-year clinical medicine undergraduates from Fuxing Hospital,Capital Medical University from March to July 2023 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into 2 groups,30 in the control group and 30 in the experimental group,respectively,using the traditional teaching mode and AI combined with BOPPPS teaching mode.After the end of the course,chest imaging theory examination,chest imaging practice examination and teaching effect questionnaire survey were carried out,and statistical analysis was made on the scores of the two groups of students in the final exam of imaging related to the chest imaging content.Results The scores of chest imaging theory test,film reading practice test and total score of experimental group were(43.00±2.95)points,(41.20±2.40)points and(83.87±3.33)points,respectively,which were higher than the control group(41.27±3.26)points,(38.57±4.96)points,(79.83±5.72)points,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the teaching effect questionnaire,the test group had higher scores than the control group in five dimensions:stimulating learning interest,deepening understanding of basic knowledge of chest imaging,enhancing understanding of image characteristics of common chest diseases,communication and interaction between teachers and students,and improving learning effect,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The final examination score of the test group was(15.72±1.28)points,which was higher than that of the control group(14.63±1.75)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The teaching mode of AI combined with BOPPPS can stimulate students'interest in chest imaging,deepen students'grasp of the image characteristics of common chest diseases,and help improve the teaching effect of chest imaging.
