Clinical Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Preparations in Burn Treatment
Traditional Chinese medicine preparations are mainly categorized into traditional Chinese medicine mixtures,formulas,and single formulas.Traditional Chinese medicine mixtures are widely used in burn treatment because of their effects on anti-shock,infection,wound healing,scar hyperplasia and itching,etc.Formulas are available in a wide range of dosage forms,and are mainly used in the clinic to protect wounds and promote wound repair.Single formulas,with rela-tively simple compositions,have a wide variety of types and are mostly passed down between gen-erations;they have the advantages of convenient material selection and simple usage,and are mainly used in the treatment of burn wounds of Degree I and degree Ⅱ.This paper analyzes the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine preparations and describes the mechanism of action in ac-celerating wound healing and inhibiting scar hyperplasia from the aspects of promoting skin tissue growth,inhibiting inflammatory response,resisting shock,and regulating collagen metabolism.In the future,the research on the mechanism of action and clinical efficacy evaluation system of tra-ditional Chinese medicine preparations should be further improved.
