Ovarian cancer is a common gynecological malignant tumor, with an incidence rate second only to that of cervical cancer and endometrial cancer, and its mortality rate ranks first among gynecological malignant tumors. In recent years,a series of high-throughput sequencing technologies and metabolomics have enabled researchers to gain more insight into the structure and function of vaginal microbiota.A large number of previous studies have revealed the relation-ship between vaginal microbiota and host health, and there is also a correlation between vaginal microbiota and ovarian cancer, although the specific mechanism is still unknown. This article re-views the relationship between vaginal microbiota and ovarian cancer, and discusses the role of va-ginal microbiota in the treatment of ovarian cancer.
