Research progress in production technology and application of methylstyrene based on patent analysis
Methylstyrene,as an environmentally friendly new material,can replace styrene and is widely used in plastics,rubber,coatings,adhesives,and functional materials.It has low toxicity and high stability,and can achieve non-toxic production of downstream products.It is of great significance for building green chemicals.Through the analysis and exploration of the production technology evolution,research status,and product application network of methylstyrene,it was found that the production of high-purity meta-and para methylethylbenzene was the focus of research in this field.It is necessary to strengthen the research and development of high-performance catalysts,optimize or develop new process routes,and accelerate the pace of large-scale production of methylstyrene.
