The performance of diethyl phthalate(DEP)as an internal standard for measuring dibutyl phthalate(DBP)content was studied.Through rigorous experimental design, precise data measurement, and in-depth analysis and demonstration, the accuracy and stability of DEP as an internal standard have been fully verified.DEP as an internal standard for DBP,can accurately measure the content of DBP with a standard deviation of 0.00233602 and a coefficient of variation of 0.56524%.This method was used to test the DBP content of the lean solvent in the post stripping kettle of green low-carbon butane method for the production of maleic anhydride. The results still showed a good linear relationship, and the mixture of diethyl phthalate and the lean solvent in the post stripping kettle was stable, providing a reliable method for accurate determination of DBP content.
