Clinical Observation of TCM Combined with Intra-articular Perfusion in the Treatment of Frozen Shoulder
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of TCM combined with intra-articular perfusion in the treatment of frozen shoulder. Methods:One hundred and twenty patients with frozen shoulder were randomly divided into conventional treatment group,TCM comprehensive treatment group and combined treatment group,40 cases in each group. The routine treatment group was given oral administration of irexib tablets combined with routine functional exercise; The TCM comprehensive treatment group was given TCM Massage,Danggui Sini Decoction and routine functional exercise. The combined treatment group was treated with TCM combined with shoulder joint perfusion. The treatment course of each group was 4 weeks.CRP and PGE2 levels,Chinese version of Constant-Murley shoulder function score(CMS)and clinical effect were measured before and 6 weeks after treatment. Results:After treatment, the levels of CRP and PGE2 in three groups were decreased(P<0.01),and the CMS scores were increased(P<0.01);in terms of CRP,PGE2 levels and CMS scores, the comprehensive treatment group was better than the conventional treatment group(P<0.01),and the combined treatment group was better than the comprehensive treatment group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the conventional treatment group and the TCM Comprehensive treatment group(P>0.05),but the total effective rate of the combined treatment group was significantly better than that of the conventional treatment group(P<0.01)and the TCM Comprehensive treatment group(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the routine treatment group and the comprehensive treatment group of traditional Chinese medicine(P>0.05).There were no adverse reactions in each group. Conclusion:TCM comprehensive therapy combined with intra-articular perfusion can reduce inflammatory reaction, relieve pain and improve shoulder joint function, which is superior to conventional treatment group and TCM comprehensive therapy.
