Clinical Analysis of Misoprostol in Induction of Abortion in Late Pregnancy
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of misoprostol in late pregnancy induced abortion.Methods:Eighty pregnant women who were hospitalized at Lianhua County People's Hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 and had indications for induced abortion were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 cases in each group.The observation group received misoprostol induced abortion,while the control group received oxytocin induced abortion.The effects of the two groups were compared.Results:The effective rate of the observation group was 95.0%,while the effective rate of the control group was 82.5%,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The amount of vaginal bleeding in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement in cervical score in the observation group was greater than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Both groups did not experience gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting.Conclusion:Misoprostol tablets are a convenient,effective,economical,and safer method of inducing labor in late pregnancy to promote cervical maturation and initiate uterine contractions.
