Effect of Baiyi Qianliekang Granules on NF-кB Signaling Pathway in Nonbacterial Prostatitis Rats
Objective:To investigate the NF-кB signaling pathway in Baiyi Qianliekang granule(BQG)in nonbacterial prostatitis rats induced by carrageenan. Methods:Chronic nonbacterial prostatitis rat model was induced by 1%carrageenan.The effects of BQG on rat prostate organ index, histopathological morphology,as well as expression levels of inflammatory factors IL-8,TNF-α,VEGF in rat prostate tissue were evaluated.Western blot was used to detect the expression of NF-κB pathway-related molecular proteins in rat prostate tissues. Results:BQG could reduce prostate organ index and reduces inflammation in prostate tissue.Compared with the model group, the expression levels of inflammatory factors IL-8,TNF-α,VEGF and the expression levels of transcription factors p-IκBα,p-IκKα,NF-κBP65,p-NF-κBP65 in prostate tissue were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:BQG can inhibit chronic nonbacterial prostatitis rats induced by carrageenan, and this effect may be related to inhibiting the activation of NF-кB signaling pathway.
