Observation on the Therapeutic Effect of Modified Pipa Qingfei Decoction in the Treatment of 48 Acne Cases of Lung Meridian Wind Heat Type
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Pipa Qingfei Decoction in treating acne of wind-heat type of lung.Methods:96 acne patients from department of endocrinology of luohu hospital of traditional Chinese medicine of shenzhen city and WU Hongyan outpatient clinic were selected by practical randomized controlled experiment.96 subjects were randomly divided into two groups with 48 cases in each group.Subjects in the treatment group received oral modified pipa Qingfei Decoction,and subjects in the control group received oral doxycycline hydrochloride tablets.The researchers will compare the Comprehensive Acne Grading System(CAGs)scores and clinical outcomes of the two groups of subjects in the 6 weeks before and after GAGS assessment,and will also follow up for 3 months.Results:After 6 weeks of treatment,GAGS score decreased in both groups,and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group,with a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the improvement effect of the treatment group was better.The total effective rate was 97.92%in the treatment group and 72.92%in the control group,and the treatment group was more effective than the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the treatment group(10.42%)was lower than that in the control group(33.33%).Conclusion:The modified Pipa Qingfei Yin has a definite therapeutic effect on lung meridian wind heat type acne,and has a low recurrence rate.
