The theory of Zangfu Bietong is a reasoning tool derived from long-term medical practice to explain the diagnosis and treatment of some common clinical diseases.By sorting out the specific physiological pathology and syndrome types of the theory of Zangfu Bietong and listing relevant medical cases,this paper shows that the reasoning tools such as Five Elements Theory,Yin-Yang Theory,and Six Meridians Theory cannot summarize the complexity and diversity of diseases completely.The theory of Zangfu BieTong complements and improves the reasoning of some complex diseases and syndromes,which has its clinical applicability and belongs to the general framework of the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine.
