Objective:To investigate the effects of adjuvant therapy with Jinlida Granules on glucose metabolism indexes and oxidative stress in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:Ninety-six T2DM patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to April 2023 were divided into control group(48 cases)and treatment group(48 cases)according to random number table method. The control group received conventional treatment, and the treatment group received adjuvant treatment based on conventional treatment with Jinlida Granules.Glucose metabolism indexes[fasting blood glucose level(FBG),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)],islet cell function[islet beta cell function(HOMA-β),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)],oxidative stress index[malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD)]and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After 8 weeks of treatment, the levels of FBG,2h PBG,HbA1c,HOMA-IR and MDA in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of HOMA-βand SOD were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The adjuvant therapy of Jinlida Granules in T2DM patients can improve glucose metabolism and islet cell function, reduce oxidative stress reaction, and has good safety.
