Progress in the Prevention and Treatment of Peritoneal Dialysis-related Complications in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Peritoneal dialysis is an altemative treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease,but its various related complications have become important factors affecting the prognosis and quality of life of patients.A large number of studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine can regulate the function of peritoneal dialysis patients to improve the quality of life of patients,and traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in protecting residual kidney function,correcting malnutrition,and improving gastrointestinal function.In addition,traditional Chinese medicine can also prolong the treatment time of peritoneal dialysis by improving adverse factors such as peritoneal fibrosis,infectious complications,and micro-inflammatory states.This article reviews the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of peritoneal dialysis complications.
