Clinical Application Analysis of Tongye Burn Oil Compound External Application in Children After Tonsillectomy with Low Temperature Plasma
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of external application of Compound Tongye Burn Oil in children after tonsillectomy with low temperature plasma.Methods:The 60 tonsillectomy cases were randomly assigned to two groups.The observation group(30 cases)received conventional western medicine combined with Compound Tongye Burn Oil,while the control group(30 cases)only received conventional western medicine.Postoperative bleeding,pain,fever,cough,and pseudomembrane shedding time were evaluated.Results:A total of 60 cases of children included in the study.The observation group had milder postoperative pain compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference in the first three days after surgery(P<0.05).Bad breath was milder on the first and third days after surgery,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Symptoms such as pharyngeal foreign body sensation and irritating cough were milder on the third and seventh days after surgery,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative fever was low and the degree of airway obstruction was mild The pseudomembrane detachment time was earlier,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:External application of Compound Tongye Burn Oil can effectively reduce the early symptoms and complications after tonsillectomy in children.
