Simultaneous Determination of Cannabidiol and Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in Hemp Seed Oils from Different Regions by HPLC Method
Objective:To establish a high-performance liquid chromatography method for determining the content of cannabidiol(CBD)and Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol(Δ9-THC)in hemp seed oil,and to use it as a basis for analyzing the composition of hemp seeds from different regions. Methods:TOSOH Amide-80(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm)was used as the chromatographic column, and the atomization tube temperature of the evaporative light scattering detector was 80℃;The drift tube temperature is 100℃,the gas flow rate is 1.6 L/min,acetonitrile water(80∶20)is used as the mobile phase, and the flow rate is 1.0 mL/min.An HPLC method is established to determine the content of CBD and Δ9-THC.Results:The LOQ,linear range, and precision of this method can meet the requirements for detecting CBD and Δ9-THC in oil samples. The CBD content in industrial hemp seed oil from the 9 regions tested ranges from 0.014%to 0.117%,and the Δ9-THC content ranges from 0.375%to 0.022%.Conclusion:This method is simple and accurate, and can provide reference for the quality standard research of hemp seed oil in different regions.
