Clinical Application of Warm Acupuncture Method and Strong Acupuncture Method of HE's in Treating Refractory Peripheral Facial Paralysis
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of warm method and strong pass method in refractory peripheral facial paralysis(PFP).Methods:102 patients with refractory PFP from June 2020 to June 2023 were divided into 51 patients. The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture, the observation group was treated with warm and strong method in He's three-way method, and both groups were treated for 8 weeks.Clinical efficacy, facial nerve function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results:The total response rate of the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05);the Sunnybrook facial nerve score and health survey brief table(SF-36)were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the patients of refractory PFP,the warm and strong pass method can improve the facial nerve function, improve the quality of life, has the characteristics of"simple test and cheap effect",can better serve the clinical practice,is worth clinical promotion, and has a broad clinical application prospect.
