Effect of Warm Acupuncture and Moxibustion Combined with Intramuscular Plaster Therapy on Microcirculation Function and Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To analyze the effect of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with intramuscular plaster therapy on microcirculation and inflammatory factors in patients with knee osteoarthritis.Methodws:140 patients with knee osteoarthritis admitted to orthopedic rehabilitation department of Anyi county traditional Chinese medicine hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 70 patients in each group. The control group was treated with warm acupuncture and moxibustion, and the observation group was treated with intramuscular plaster.Compared the efficacy of two groups,Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index Score(WOMAC),Lysholm Knee Joint,Visual Analog Scale(VAS),Knee Joint Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Score,Daily Activity Ability Score,Quality of Life Score,Microcirculatory Function[Exercise Blood Cell Concentration(CMBC),Microvascular Perfusion Volume(MBP)],and Serum Inflammatory Factors[Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α)、Interleukin(IL)-1 β、IL-6]level.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group(97.14%)was higher than that of the control group(85.71%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the WOMAC and VAS scores of the two groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);The Lysholm scores of the two groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05);the daily activity ability and quality of life scores of the two groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,CMBC and MBP increased in both groups, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in both groups decreased, and those in the observation group was all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with intramuscular plaster therapy can improve the microcirculation function of patients with knee osteoarthritis, reduce the expression level of serum inflammatory factors, relieve pain, improve knee joint function, and improve the daily life ability and quality of life of patients.
