Analysis of Key Points in Preparation of Welding Procedure Qualification Test Coupons for CTOD Test
This article provides guidance on the control of the welding process for double-sided welded large thickness test coupons.Reasonable methods have been proposed for each stage of the preparation of large thick-ness test coupon,and a reasonable operation sequence has been set based on the characteristics of the operation to improve the efficiency of test coupon preparation.In response to the situation where HAZ CTOD specimens are prone to invalid specimens,the operational points that should be paid attention to when welding the test cou-pon were clarified to improve the efficiency of obtaining HAZ CTOD specimens.
