Exploration and Practice of Project-Based Teaching Reform in Welding Technology and Engineering Specialty
The welding industry is a core sector of manufacturing, and with the increasing demand for skilled welding professionals, the project-based reform of welding education has become urgent. This study explores the project-based teaching reform in the Welding Technology and Engineering program to cultivate talents that meet the demands of modern welding practices.Based on action-oriented teaching design, the research proposes cur-riculum reforms focusing on welding motion, special welding techniques, and other aspects, with the aim of en-hancing students'problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities through real-world projects.A diversified as-sessment system is also designed to evaluate students'learning outcomes. The project-based teaching approach, implemented in pilot classes, has yielded positive results, with a student satisfaction rate of 85%.
