An Empirical Study of ChatGPT Assisting Senior High School English Writing Feedback
To explore the possibility,feasibility and effectiveness of the application of ChatGPT to the feedback of senior high school English writing and based on the perspective of empirical investigation,this paper discusses the feedback characteristics and advantages of ChatGPT in three dimensions:vocabulary,grammar and discourse.The results show that ChatGPT helps to improve the current"cage-only"feedback mode and expand the content dimension of writing feedback.It is helpful to broaden the meta-pragmatic teaching resources and improve the reliability and validity of writing feedback.It is helpful to activate discourse interaction and improve students'pragmatic competence.In the background of the vigorous development of artificial intelligence,ChatGPT assisting senior high school English writing feedback is a new exploration and attempt of second language writing feedback towards intelligence.
