Effects of Labor Participation on Subjective Well-Being of Primary School Students:the Analysis of the Chain Mediating Effects of Family Support and Sense of Meaning in Life
Starting from how labor participation can help students obtain subjective well-being,the study analyzed the mechanism of"labor happiness"and explained the chain mediating effect between family support and sense of life meaning.A total of 634 fifth and sixth grade students were investigated by labor participation scale, family support scale, sense of life meaning scale and subjective well-being scale. The results showed that labor participation, family support, sense of life meaning and subjective well-being were significantly positively correlated, family support and sense of life meaning had a significant single mediating effect between labor participation and subjective well-being,and family support and sense of life meaning had a significant chain mediating effect between labor participation and subjective well-being.This suggests that schools should appropriately increase the breadth, precision and depth of labor content, and broaden the channels of labor practice in multiple ways;deeply explore the life education elements in various labor fields and enrich the content of labor in an all-round way;work together to create a family, school and social co-education mechanism, integrated protection of students'labor happiness.
