Analysis of Trigonometric Function Test Questions in College Entrance Examination Based on SOLO Taxonomy Theory—Taking Four Sets of Mathematics Papers for the College Entrance Examination in 2023 for Example
SOLO taxonomy theory is used to analyze the trigonometry questions in four sets of examination papers, including National Science Paper A,National Science Paper B,National Science Paper I and National Science Paper II.It is found that the examination content of the four sets of examination papers is comprehensive and the question structure is stable. The examination frequency of first level knowledge, from the highest to the lowest,is as follow:the concept and property of trigonometric function, the solution of triangle, the basic relationships of trigonometric function of the same angle, the trigonometric identities transformation;the cosine theorem is the most frequently examined part of the secondary knowledge. The overall thinking level is at intermediate level, the thinking ability is clearly divided, exhibiting a clear SOLO progression. To be specific, the majority of questions are at the multiple structure level, with highest scoring questions at the level of associated structure. The overall thinking of trigonometric function questions is between the level of multiple structure and the level of abstract extended structure. This suggests that teachers should consolidate the basic knowledge of trigonometric function, enhance students'ability to apply knowledge in different context;construct the knowledge network and attach importance to theme-unit integral teaching;design multi-thinking level test questions, implement individualized teaching.
