Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Higher Education Institutions in the Digital and Intelligent Era:Global Trends and Local Implications
The emergence and development of digital and intelligent era has brought both opportunities and challenges to innovation and entrepreneurship education(IEE)in higher education institutions(HEIs),and has also put forward new demands for the cultivation of high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents.In the digital and intelligent era,there are six major trends of the global IEE,namely deepening the strategies of IEE,enhancing the organizational capacity of IEE,cultivating technology entrepreneurs with global perspectives,empowering IEE with digital technology,strengthening the construction of IEE ecosystem,and attaching great importance to the impact of IEE.The development of IEE in China should not only respond to the global trends,but also deeply integrate with China's new development pattern and the needs of building a powerful nation of education.The HEIs should be more active in aligning with major national strategic needs,enhance the leadership and organizational capacity of IEE,strengthen the appropriateness and effectiveness of IEE content and method,as well as building an integrated open-loop ecosystem of government,industry,academia,research and application.
