Characteristics,Straits and Optimization of Rural Teacher Incentives in the New Era:From the Perspectives of Complex Systems
Complex Systems perspectives analysis shows that the policies, objectives, content and methods of rural teacher incentives had complexity characteristics.Meanwhile it was also accompanied by many straits such as imperfect policies and disorderly implementation, conservation of incentive objectives, insufficient openness of incentive content, and excessive emphasis on administrative external control as the main driving force in incentive methods. To bolster the incentives for rural teachers in China in the new era,Efforts could be made to fortify the structural integrity of incentives policies and to ensure an orderly implementation. The dynamism of incentives objectives should be enhanced to adapt continuously to shifting external conditions. It may also be prudent to augment the non-equilibrium of incentive content, thus enabling precise differentiated incentives.Fostering the self-organization of incentives methods may invigorate the'endogenous motivation'within China's rural teachers, thereby potentially contributing to more effective pedagogical outcomes.
