On Characteristic High School Development:Based on the policy,research and practice
To promote the diversify of high schools is one of the tasks for the contribution of Chinese powerful country in education,which the characteristic school is a kind on high schools.The part Ⅰ of paper reviews the relevant policies since 2010 both in national level and in local level,and points out the limitations.The part Ⅱ prevents the academic ideas about characteristic high school in research literature.The part Ⅲ clarifies the features and the enlightenments in the past practice of characteristic high school development in Shanghai.The last part is putting forward four suggestions toward the development of characteristic high school further with the guidance of higher quality development in education,which are:strengthening on student-centered development and including all high schools;readjusting and reshaping the educational policies;Improving school system and empowering the teachers;Promoting synchronous interaction between theoretical construction and practical exploration.
