The Model Differentiation and Intrinsic Logic of the Reform of the Evaluation System for University Teachers:Analysis Based on Organizational Perspective
From an organizational perspective, based on the theoretical analysis framework of"incentive-constraint",a survey was conducted on 27 undergraduate universities in China to analyze the mode differentiation and internal logic of teacher evaluation system reform in Chinese universities.Research has found that the construction of first-class universities has mainly formed a"strong incentive-strong constraint"identity constraint model, construction of first-class disciplines in universities have mainly formed a"strong incentive-weak constraint"material constraint model,application-oriented undergraduate universities have mainly formed a"weak incentive-weak constraint"bottom line constraint model, and a small number of high-level science and engineering universities have formed an indirect"incentive-constraint"responsibility contracting model. The differentiation of the evaluation system for university teachers is mainly based on internal structural factors such as resource conditions, target positioning, historical traditions, and decision-maker cognition of different types of universities. In the future, more attention should be paid to the analysis of these internal organizational factors and the search for a balance between incentives and constraints, further enriching the practical exploration of the reform of the education evaluation.
