Restructuring the Higher Education System:A Perspective on Social Transformation
Higher education has formed an industrialized higher education system while meeting the development of industrial society. The industrialization-driven higher education system has a strong path dependence, mainly used to serve industrial society rather than meet the needs of knowledge society. In the transformation from industrial society to knowledge society, the industrialization convergence of the higher education system is not compatible with the needs of social transformation, and the industrialized higher education system shows homogenization of organizational structure and pyramidal organizational structure. With the emergence of knowledge society, industrialized higher education is facing transformation in knowledge society, and the industrialized higher education system needs to be reconstructed, that is,on the premise of an open environment, improving the continuous adaptability of the system;on the basis of changing cognition, enhancing the polymorphism of the system;on the basis of updating the organizational structure, strengthening the flexibility of the system, and realizing the transformation of the factory-style higher education system to a thriving ecosystem.
