In the context of rural revitalization,we need more rural educators.Looking back at history,modern rural educators have concentrated their thinking and practice on the national mission of rural construction,the public role of rural teachers,the professional beliefs and the competence of rural education,showcasing the unique spiritual style of the group of rural educators in China.In the face of reality,the issues of mission awareness,self-identity,professional beliefs,and competence that rural teachers need to solve have been answered by the pioneers of rural education in history,providing us with inspiration from the times.Based on this,the current cultivation of rural educators should increase the content of cultivating the spirit of rural educators in the teacher education system,including offering lecture courses,establishing community connections,developing educational cases,and increasing school practice,in order to assist in rural revitalization.
