The Dire Straits for Teachers in Bullying Prevention and intervention
Schools are the main anti-bullying battleground,and teachers are the frontline executors of anti-bullying.However,currently schools and teachers are often enmeshed in avoidance,silence,and passivity when preventing bullying.This article delves into the real dire straits faced by frontline teachers in their routine bullying prevention work,and analyzes the problems hidden in the mechanisms of bullying prevention and intervention in schools,including imperfect empowerment mechanisms,unreasonable accountability mechanisms,and the lack of a cooperation mechanism.Based on the analysis of problems and causes,this article proposes improvement suggestion as follow,including multi-dimensional empowerment of teachers,rationalization of accountability mechanisms,establishment of a"zero tolerance"cooperation mechanism for bullying prevention,and popularization of the concept of"restorative justice".
