The Generative Logic and Active Adjustment of Teachers'Quality in Rural Compulsory Education:From the Perspective of Structuration Theory
Rural teachers are the first resource of rural schools and the fundamental guarantee for the development of high-quality balance in rural compulsory education.According to the objectives of cultivating students established by the Curriculum Program and Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education,rural teachers should have higher qualities in three aspects:interdisciplinary integration and information processing,discipline education and emotion education,as well as practical teaching and teaching communication.Using Giddens's Structuration Theory,it is found that rural teachers'quality is rooted in the specific rural structure,its generating motive is to solve the contradictions between general rules of cultivating talents and special professional status of rural teachers,and it undergoes the dynamic generating process of accepting,choosing and constructing.Rural teachers should develop their subjective activities to enhance their adaptability to the rural structure,mastery of teaching practices and reflection on their own behavior.
