数字普惠金融能否影响农村教育?——基于农民收入与教育财政的分析

数字普惠金融能够弥补传统金融的发展短板,推动构建农村教育发展新格局,助力乡村振兴.基于金融功能观,从基础、核心、扩展和衍生四个递进功能,分析了数字普惠金融对农村教育的影响,并结合中国家庭金融调查(CHFS)的微观数据进行定量分析,实证检验了数字普惠金融对农村教育的影响效果和机制.研究发现:数字普惠金融在助力农村教育发展方面有显著影响,主要通过提高农村居民收入和增加教育财政支出两条路径影响农村教育;数字普惠金融的覆盖广度是影响农村教育的关键因素;相较于东、中部地区,数字普惠金融在西部地区对农村教育的影响更大,并且对农村男性教育水平的助益更高.
Can Digital Inclusive Finance Impact Rural Education?An Analysis Based on Farmers'Income and Education Finance
Digital inclusive finance can address the shortcomings of traditional financial development,promote the construction of a new pattern of rural education development,and contribute to rural revitalization.By examining the financial function view,the impact of digital inclusive finance on rural education is analyzed from the four progressive functions,including foundation,core,expansion and derivation.Complemented by the quantitative analysis of micro-data from the China Household Finance Survey(CHFS),this study provides empirical evidence of the effectiveness and mechanisms through which digital inclusive finance influences rural education.This study finds that digital inclusive finance has a significant impact on rural education development.This impact primarily operates through two pathways:increasing rural residents'income and enhancing government expenditure on education.Notably,the breadth of coverage of digital inclusive finance emerges as a crucial factor affecting rural education.Additionally,the influence of digital inclusive finance on rural education is more pronounced in the western regions compared to the eastern and central areas,offering greater benefits to male education levels in rural settings.
