Factors Influencing Academic Achievement of Disadvantaged Students and Their Mechanisms of Action
Improving the academic performance of disadvantaged students is an important way to promote social mobility and reduce class solidification.Based on the analysis of the factors influencing the academic performance of disadvantaged students and their internal mechanisms,it helps to reflect on the effectiveness of teacher-student interaction and teacher evaluation.The results show that teacher-student learning and affective interactions have a significant positive effect on the academic achievement of disadvantaged students,and there are group differences in this effect;teacher-student interactions improve the academic achievement of disadvantaged students by enhancing their academic perseverance.The implications of the study are that teachers should pay attention to the learning and affective problems of disadvantaged students and respond to them in a positive way,that teachers should emphasize the development of resilience and toughness in disadvantaged students,and that teacher evaluation policies should focus on process evaluation to motivate teachers to teach for the growth of disadvantaged students.
