Jiang Qi's Exploration on the"Sinicization"of Moral Education
Under the dual impetus of"old learning brings new knowledge"and"Western learning is spreading to the East",moral education in modern China has gradually shown the characteristics of"sinicization"and"modernization"after the unremitting pursuit of generations of scholars in education.As one of the representatives who pursued the"sinicization"of Chinese moral education in early modern times,Jiang Qi made an important contribution to the discipline and academic development of moral education in modern China.He explored the philosophical research perspective of moral education that integrated doctrines"Chinese,Western and Marxism",propelled the process of sinicization and localization of the study of moral education in the Republic of China,promoted the innovation of the academic research methodology of moral education,and highlighted the value appeal of moral education theory and practice of"both physical and functional".His research is no less than an important early attempt at the"sinicization"of modern moral education.
