The emotion of loving standard spoken and written Chinese is a profound expression that arises from deep within people's hearts,embodying their continuous experience,positive recognition,and emotional resonance with the intrinsic historical,cultural,spiritual values,and vitality of the motherland's language.It forms the foundation of cultural self-confidence and is closely tied to the historical and cultural heritage of the nation,the independence of the national spirit,and the establishment of national identity.It emerges through the processes of perceptual understanding,aesthetic experience,value recognition,and cultural comprehension.To improve the quality of education in the standard spoken and written Chinese language,mother tongue education should focus on nurturing students'love for their mother tongue,maintaining a strong cultural foundation to facilitate students'engagement with their cultural heritage,and highlighting the unique beauty of the Chinese language to enrich students'aesthetic experience of it.The learning environment should offer a captivating and meaningful experience that fosters positive emotional connections with the language.Furthermore,rather than merely serving as instructors of linguistic knowledge or trainers in language acquisition,Chinese teachers should guide students in developing deeper emotional bonds with their mother tongue.
