当前劳动教育实践存在重大的价值困境,修身思想为其提供了明确的价值向度.修身是通过一系列内在修炼与外在实践,以达到保养身心和涵养德性的过程,它与劳动天然存在关联.劳动是修身的方式,修身是劳动的价值追求,然两者亦可能存在冲突,故劳动并非必然具有修身价值,但劳动教育一定带有"修身成人"这一意愿.劳动教育之修身价值可在历史演进中找到依据,且不同历史时期的表现侧重不尽相同,其核心意蕴是健康身心的养成和道德人格的完善.为实现"修身成人"的价值旨归,应回归"以修身为本"的劳动教育价值取向,凸显"养身"与"养德"的劳动教育内容以及重视"体知"的劳动教育方式.
The Self-Cultivation Value of Labor Education
At present,there are great value dilemmas in the practice of labor education,and the thought of self-cultivation provides a clear value dimension for it.Self-cultivation is a process of physical and mental maintenance and moral cultivation through a series of internal cultivation and external practices,which is naturally related to labor.Labor is the way of self-cultivation,and self-cultivation is the value pursuit of labor,but there may be conflicts between the two,so labor is not necessarily with the value of self-cultivation,but labor education must have the will of"cultivating oneself as an adult".The self-cultivation value of labor education can be found in the historical evolution,and the emphasis on its performance varies in different historical periods,but its core implication is the cultivation of a healthy body and mind and the perfection of a moral personality.In order to realize the value of"cultivating one's moral character",we should return to the value orientation of"making the self-cultivation as the foundation",highlight the content of"physical cultivation"and"moral cultivation"and pay attention to the method of"physical knowledge"of labor education.
