地方院校实施双语教学存在的问题及对策探讨

双语教学是适应我国加入WTO后的新形势、推进高校教育改革的新举措.地方院校有必要开展双语教学;同时地方院校实施双语教学主要存在缺乏双语师资及合适的教材、学生的英语应用能力偏低等问题.由此我们提出了解决问题的对策.
Abstract
Bilingual teaching is a new measure to get adapted to the new situation of China'access to WTO,and to promote the educational reform in universities and colleges.It is an urgent need for local colleges to implement bilingual teaching;the main problems existing in the present bilingual teaching in local colleges are the lack of bilingual teachers and suitable bilingual textbooks,and the students'low English proficiency.Thus we put forward some suggestions for solving the problems.
