本文着重分析了认知语义学上的关于隐喻和图式的理论.隐喻对多义词的发展起了很大的作用而图式理论与联想记忆紧密相关.教师将隐喻和图式的理论适当地应用于英语词汇教学,希望帮助学生扩大词汇量和提高英语水平.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the theories of metaphor and image schema in cognitive semantics.Metaphor ldads to polysemy.Image schema is connected to associative memory. By applying the two theories to vocabulary teaching,teachers can help students enlarge their vocabulary and improve their English.
