Genetic Diversity Analysis of Tulip Varieties Based on ISSR Markers
In this study, the genetic diversity of 22 tulip varieties was analyzed based on ISSR molecular markers, aiming to understand the genetic relationship between different varieties of tulips and improve the goal of breeding.129 bands were amplified by use of 11 primers,in which 124 were polymorphic bands and the polymorphism rate was 96.1%.The average number of tested alleles (na*),effective alleles (ne*),Nei's gene diversity index (h*) and Shannon's information index were 1.793 9,1.383 3,0.249 0,and 0.399 0,respectively,which indicated that the polymorphism of tulip was high, and it had rich genetic diversity.UPGMA cluster analysis done by NTSYS software showed that 22 species could be classified into two cluster groups with the similarity coefficient of 0.62.According to the clustering results,it was speculated that the hybridization of varieties of different colors had greater potential to get new varieties. This conclusion could provide theoretical reference at the the molecular level for further research and utilization.
