Ammopiptanthus mongolicus is a relict species of tertiary glacier.It has strong resistance to stress,and is a good material for the study of the molecular mechanism of plant resistance.The genome size and heterozygosity were predicted by high throughput sequencing and bioinformatics tools,which were used for the preliminary identification of simple sequence repeat (SSR) ofAmmopiptanthus mongolicus.The genome size of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus was about 812 Mb,the heterozygosity was 0.506%,and the genome heterozygosity was high.Genome sequencing was assembled and subjected to SSR.A total of 183 102 SSRs were obtained and different types ofnucleotides repeated differently.Among them,the content of AT/TA in dinucleotide repeats was the highest,and four nucleotides repeated least,accounting for 1.48% of the total.
